I just LOVE Geek & Sundry! When my little BLOG grows up, I hope to be ALMOST like them one day!I will FREELY admit, that on our FRIDAY night game night, we will break out the beer and wine coolers. I run numerous D&D games throughout the week, at least three, but for some reason, Friday the booze night! No complaints. And pizza, lots of pizza!
Anyways, when I first saw this article, I figured it would be about what beer or wine to drink during your gaming session. OR, maybe a Dungeon & Dragons drinking game! Is that a thing? I could see it now, every time you roll that glorious 1, you need to take a shot! On a natural 20, another SHOT! I DO believe, you could have some people sleeping over at your house that evening if you tried this. Now, if I do, I'll be sure to let you know!
This article actually looks at the various character classes, and figures out what type of beer or other alcoholic beverage fits best, with a particular class-type. It's a cute, quick read. I recognized most of the booze they mentioned!
Though, I am really interested in the whole, "d20 shot game"....

Gaming has been around for quite some time, and games are not just for kids anymore. Many of our tabletop roleplaying game groups are comprised of people of the sufficient age to drink and be merry. And if we’re going to do it, let’s do it right. Let’s pick drinks that go with our Dungeons & Dragons characters for instance, putting us in the right mindset for roleplaying. Every character’s got at least one class, informing us of their way of doing things. Let’s start there.
